Introduction
RevCore is the name of a new series of golf bags produced by the brand called CaddyDaddy. CaddyDaddy began over 20 years ago with the goal to add coolers to golf bags. Today, they’ve created that and a lot more including a luxury line. I recently received one of their updated RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bags to review the new improvements.
Looks
If you are reading this review, you obviously care about the look of your golf bag. Lucky for you, the RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bag is built with the aesthetic as the main attraction. The all-black outer shell is made with premium foam-backed synthetic leather and black nickel alloy hardware and zippers that immediately draw your eyes. In addition, the six way dividers and heavily padded shoulder straps are both lined with velvet to match the high end look. Before I even opened a pocket or put in a club, I was impressed.
As with many luxury style golf bags, the RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bags are offered in three classic colors – black, grey, and navy. In this review, I got the black and love it. The branding is limited to just the “RevCore” on the right side of the golf bag with a few diamond logos scattered throughout.
From the outside, its unique diagonal stitching helps me know this is a RevCore bag and adds a bit of flair. Otherwise, it may be hard to tell it apart from a Vessel or other premium luxury bag, which is certainly a compliment.
Features
Since this company was built upon bags with cooler pockets, I have to start there as this has two of them. Each cooler pocket is large enough to hold two beer cans or one very large Yeti.
In addition to the coolers, RevCore has seven other storage pockets, one of which is a fully magnetic rangefinder compartment. The front pockets are deep with side storage areas roomy enough for any type of weather-related apparel you may need on the course.
Along the rear of the bag is a set of umbrella straps should you need them. This, along with a logo-inspired towel ring and velcro glove patch, come standard but are worth pointing out.
Lastly, the RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bag features a removable embroidery panel for easy customization and a well-padded rain cover, which feels appropriate for a luxury golf bag.
Performance
One of the biggest reasons golfers are going to love the RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bag is because it has the performance to match its good looks. Starting at the top, the six-way felt-lined dividers are full length making it easy to get clubs in and out, even with larger grips. The felt liner serves as a scuff preventer and helps glide each club into their respective slots.
One of my favorite additions to this new model is the stay flat base. Most golfers, including myself, prefer this over the traditional kickstand. The additional benefit to the stay flat base is that it can balance well on its own fully upright. A part of me dies watching a stand bag fall to the ground when its placed upright, but thankfully that won’t happen with a RevCore.
Typically, a stand bag implies carrying but at 6.75 pounds, this is geared more toward a push cart user or rider. Considering each bag comes stock with a cart strap sleeve, RevCore recognizes this too. With that said, I was notably impressed with the padded dual shoulder straps and how it made the bag feel lighter. RevCore also adds a single strap if you prefer that carrying style.

The RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bag is a dark horse contender in the luxury golf bag market. From the black nickel zippers and felt-lined six-way dividers to the abrasion resistant piping and aesthetically pleasing synthetic leather, the team at RevCore agonized over every detail. All this detail creates a ton of value in the RevCore Lux Hybrid Stand Bag. It needs to be on every golfers short list of bags to try for next season.
