Point and shoot accuracy is right! High and long and straight!

I tried the E722 irons in a fitting based on your review and bought them and loved them, got my handicap down to 7. Same with the E723, my current gamers, but even better. I just bought the E725 irons and love them even more. I play in firm desert conditions and was looking for more height…and these deliver in spades with the KBS shafts. Absolutly love the height. And they’re long, like the predecessors. Great feel too, I’m really liking the combo with the KBS lite shaft.

Don,

That’s tough because two of those are direct to consumer, so there’s no ability to demo them. I think for accuracy and forgiveness, I would favor the TEE E725.

Best,

Matt

I am a 76 year old golfer with a 14 handicap. I thinking about buying a set of irons and would appreciate your thoughts. I am looking in the players distance or forgiving type irons. I value accuracy and forgiveness over distance. I was thinking of MacGregor MACSPD, Tour Edge e725 or Takomo 101. I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks

I think TEE is gaining traction. Moving from niche to overall appeal. There is a real market for a premium OEM, with true R&D, that can come in at 20-30% less than the “big names”.

Phil,

I think that objectively they are a modest upgrade, and the amount to which they help any individual golfer will vary quite a bit. This is why we stress fitting and comparing your current clubs to new ones in a fitting.

Best,

Matt

thanks for the review. Would you say that these irons are an overall improvement on the E723 irons performance wise and would be worth the upgrade?

Thanks,

Phil
