Great review. I tried a G440 Max on two separate occasions. I was blown away both times. It feels great, is consistent and just seems to want to go straight. It’s hard for me to believe it’s that much better than my Callaway AI smoke max, but if I see the same results on a 3rd time trying the club, it may be worth it to switch after only 1 year with the AI smoke max.

Very informative review. But I guess it’s a sign of the times that once you buy something, you never finish paying for it. Similar to w/ many products, when you bit it, you have the “basic” version. But to get the full a& ongoing benefit, you need to download the app & pay a monthly subscription service.

In reply to Pete. Update after picking up the 23* to try as a 5 iron replacement. I tried but quickly pulled the Dart Recoil 95. In my irons I’m gaming Modus 120 S (114g), but decided to give a Modus 130 R (121g) a try in hopes of higher launch. Two completely different animals, but worked very well for me, go figure. Well enough to do the same with the 20* and 26*, 4i - 6i in length. The distance consistency really stands out with these. Definitely worth a try & very affordable.

Great review! I am loving my G440 Max so far. Looks so good shaping is a touch more compact and the top just seems to be smoother. I am coming from G430 Max 10k … and the G440 Max head was 7 grams lighter. Which brings it more inline with other manufacturers heads and allows me to play a normal shaft without swing weight going off the charts. No more counter balanced shafts or compromises!

I haven’t used the KIT since this review, so I can’t speak to any updates. I think it still holds it own at the $5K price range; it would be one of the top contenders if I had to buy a launch monitor right now.
