Interesting results on the course. Played 18 holes with the VeroX2 on a brutally hot and humid day. I was loose, swung consistently good, and didn’t like anything about the ball except the feel putting, where I putted much better than usual. I was about 10 – 15 yards shorter with driver and 1/2 to a full club shorter with my irons, felt like a rock compared to VeroX1. Tried the VeroX2 again on a beautiful, warm, sunny/overcast day. I geared down my driver swing to hit it more solidly, and played an extra half to full club more. Hit less greens, but chipped and putted well, scored really well. Ball was very stable in breeze/wind, never ballooned. This would be a great ball for driver swing speeds above 95 mph. If someone wants a new sleeve of yellow VeroX2, I have 3. No charge. Email P.I.G.

Doug,

If you enjoyed the X1, I think the X2 will be satisfactory.

Best,

Matt

Driver speed has dropped to 80 – 82. I played the Callaway Supersoft for a year. Distance was really good, but gave up spin and contact always felt “mushy” with no feedback. Went to Titleist Pro V1x and got the results I was looking for. Found a Oncore Vero X1 which became my new ball. Unbeatable distance off tee and fairway woods, 1/2 club longer with irons, good feedback, excellent spin. Started using a yellow ball but Oncore is out of yellow VeroX1’s. Bought a dozen yellow Vero X2’s. Did I give you enough info to guess/predict how ball will work for me?
